Healthy Sweet Omelette with Blueberries

Make this quick sweet omelette for breakfast next time you feel like eating something special but don’t want to spend more than five minutes cooking. This is a budget-friendly dish anyone can make. All you need is one pan and four simple ingredients.

  • ½ tbsp butter
  • 3 whole eggs whisked
  • 2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
  • ½ cup blueberries


  • Warm the butter over medium-high heat in a skillet or frying pan.
  • Whisk the eggs and cream together in a bowl and pour in the pan, once it’s hot. Let rest for 2 minutes until edges cook and start to set.
  • Arrange the blueberries on one half of the omelette. Lower the heat until egg is almost cooked through.
  • Use a spatula and fold the omelette in half by bringing the plain egg side up to cover and rest on top of the berries.
  • Remove from heat and serve warm.
