Instructions

  • Heat oil in a pot over medium-high heat. Fry the chicken feet until golden brown. You may need to do this in batches and flip them over halfway through cooking time with tongs. Each side takes about two minutes. Once done, remove from oil and set aside.
1 cup cooking oil, 1 pound chicken feet
  • Transfer 2 tablespoons of the used oil to a second pot. Saute garlic and chili.
4 cloves garlic, 2 whole Thai chili
  • Add the chicken feet, soy sauce, water, and vinegar to garlic chili. Bring to a boil.
½ cup Keto Soy Sauce, 1½ cups water, ¼ cup raw apple cider vinegar
  • Season with the remaining ingredients. Stir to mix well. Simmer for approximately forty-five minutes until chicken feet are tender and the skin falls from the bone. Add water if needed.
2 whole bay leaves, ½ teaspoon whole peppercorn, ½ teaspoon salt
  • Remove from heat, plate, and serve hot.
