Carnivore Hamburger Bun Recipe
A carnivore burger is almost guaranteed to be a meal prep staple if you’re eating an ultra-low-carb animal-based diet. So jazz your burger up with this simple two-ingredient carnivore bun recipe and top it with any of the strict carnivore or keto carnivore fixings listed below.

For each burger
- 1 4-ounce burger patty
- ½ ounce cheese see notes
- 1 slice bacon optional, cut in half so it fits under the bun
- 1 large fried egg optional
For the buns
Preheat the oven to 350 °F (175°C). Grease a 6-cup muffin pan.
Combine cheese and eggs together in a large mixing bowl.
1½ cups mozzarella cheese, 2 large eggs
Divide the batter and fill each muffin space evenly.
Bake for 20 minutes, until tops are golden brown.
Run a knife around the edges to loosen each muffin. Remove from the pan and cool on a wire rack.
For the burgers
Cook as many burger patties as you need, with or without cheese.
1 4-ounce burger patty, ½ ounce cheese
Assemble with optional add-ins. Eat immediately.
