Carnivore Omelette (Cheeseburger Style)

Serve a cheeseburger-style carnivore omelette from start to finish in 15 minutes. This dish has to be one of the easiest breakfast recipes ever! However, don’t limit the fun to just the morning hours; enjoy the high-protein and almost zero carb meal any time of the day.

  • Warm the butter in a skillet or frying pan over medium heat. Sauté thinly sliced onion for 2 minutes until translucent.
    ½ tablespoon butter, 2 tablespoons onion
  • Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Break it apart with a spatula as needed.
    4 ounces ground beef
  • Remove onion beef mixture and set aside.
  • Whisk eggs and salt in a bowl.
    2 whole eggs, ¼ teaspoon salt
  • Pour the eggs into the pan and cook without disturbing until the egg sets. It takes about 3 minutes over medium heat.
  • Arrange the meat over one-half of the eggs. Sprinkle half of the cheese on top and fold the omelette over. Lower heat, top with remaining cheese, and cover with a lid. Continue cooking until cheese melts completely.
    2 ounces shredded cheese
  • Remove from heat, arrange on a plate and serve warm.
